Fancy a trip to Seattle? Why not visit the PRFM?

Hey sorry for the late notice, we were just waiting for the sun to come out!

Get your stockings stuffed at the Punk Rock Flea Market! The often imitated but never duplicated Punk Rock Flea Market returns to the Underground Events Center just before X-mas to sell you all the white elephants you can fit in your bike basket. And this year were giving away FREE SNOWBALLS! On December 10th, from noon to 10pm, the Punk Rock Flea Market magically appears at the Underground Events Center at 2407 1st Ave. in Belltown, Seattle.

Now in its 5^th year, the Punk Rock Flea Market is proud to be Seattle's least predictable and best-loved flea market. HOW DO WE DO IT?!? By selling just about everything: music, movies, clothing, toys, furniture, jewelry, soap, candles, computers, radios, books, belt buckles, balloon animals, bike parts, vintage porn, ceramics, roller skates, spray paint, incense, cupcakes, pickles, arts, crafts, pretty much anything you want. The name "Punk Rock Flea Market" refers to the DIY spirit of the event, not to any particular life-style or music choice. If you want it, one of our vendors probably sells it. End of story.

The Holidays addition of the market brings more than 50 vendors into the Underground, plus food, drink, hand-spun music and unforeseen surprises. The market opens to the public at noon and goes ALL DAY. The PRFM is an ALL AGES event. Bring the kids, bring Grandma, bring the whole damn crew. And did we mention that its still less than £1 to get in? You think you can get more entertainment for yer money ANYWHERE in this city? We sincerely doubt it.

Once again, the Underground Events Center has been generously loaned to the PRFM for the day by the Low Income Housing Institute, aka. LIHI. LIHI is a non-profit organization that builds homes for homeless and low-income people all around the Puget Sound. Table fees and entry donations go toward paying fees and advertising costs for this event. Once those expenses are covered, all additional proceeds go to LIHI. More info about them at www.lihi.org.

The PRFM is put on by volunteers and amateurs, so you can help make it work by volunteering your time and energy! And if you cant volunteerwed love to see you there either way.
