• Water - Calm and Tempest

  This new exhibition of paintings at Bushey Museum and Art Gallery show artists’ responses to water in some 40 works of art. Essential to life, water makes up over half the surface of our planet. In practice it has been used for power, transport and pleasure. Artists have always been fascinated by its action whether waves crashing, in motion or reflections in the mirror-like surface of still water. These are the themes of the artists exhibited, all of whom have an association with Bushey and its environs. The exhibition is at Bushey Museum in Rudolph Road until the end of September 2010.
